Creating a world where everyone can breathe safely indoors
We’re thrilled to share our first advocacy report, Safer shared air - a critical accessibility and inclusion issue. This groundbreaking report clearly articulates why we need to urgently act on improving indoor air quality to make indoor spaces safer, healthier and more inclusive for all.
Why safer air matters
People living with chronic illnesses have always faced access and inclusion challenges in the workplace, including through exposure to poor indoor air quality that can exacerbate their health conditions. Illnesses, such as colds, flu, COVID, and others, can spread in the air we breathe, particularly indoors.
These risks, which have increased since 2020, are not broadly recognised by society, marginalising many people, and highlighting a serious gap in our approach to accessibility and inclusion.
Learn more about how improved indoor air quality can lead to improvements in inclusion, health, productivity and even sustainability.
Our vision
Our vision is to create a world where everyone can breathe safely indoors, ensuring healthy and inclusive environments for all.
Our mission
Our mission is to advocate for the recognition of indoor air quality as a critical accessibility and inclusion issue for individuals living with chronic health conditions. Through community engagement, education, and policy advocacy we strive to raise awareness about the impact of poor indoor air quality on the well-being of high-risk populations.
We are committed to promoting equitable access to clean and healthy indoor environments by empowering communities, advocating for inclusive policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that ensure every person, regardless of health status, can thrive in indoor spaces safely and comfortably.
“
By recognising that indoor air quality is a critical accessibility and inclusion issue for people living with chronic health conditions, and choosing to act, we can create healthier and more inclusive spaces for all.
